Boys’ Generation Plot
Set in late 1980s, Jang Byeong Tae (Im Si Wan) is a new high school transfer student in Buyeo Agricultural High School, South Chungcheong Province. He is a frail boy who is mistakenly believed to be the best fighter in Buyeo. Park Ji Young (Lee Sun Bin) is a high school student named the black spider by fellow students. Kang Sun Hwa (Kang Hye Won) is a student who is popular among students and Jung Kyeong Tae (Lee Si Woo) is a student who is good at fighting.

Im Si Wan will portray Jang Byeong Tae, a loner and weak boy, who on his first day of school is mistakenly believed to be the best fighter of Buyeo. In Buyeo High School, where only the strong survive, he turns into a school leader overnight and the drama will showcase his growth from a person who is timid and frail boy to a bold and fearless guy.
Im Siwan made his debut on the big screen starring in The Attorney, which was watched by 10 million viewers. He has since captivated his viewers and critics with his roles in Bad Boys: and Emergency on the big screen. He has also made his mark in the dramaworld with kdramas such as Misaeng Run On Tracer and will show the charms of both a timid and bold guy in the drama.
Lee Sun Bin will star in the role of Park Ji Young, a famous fighter in Buyeo nicknamed “Black Spider” for her fighting skills. She has a strong sense of judgement and uses her fighting skills to help the weak, for her own happiness and love. She recently starred in the second season of hit drama “Work Later, Drink Now”.
Lee Si Woo plays Jung Kyung Tae, a high school student as the strongest fighter, who judges the entire school by his fights, and will lead the exciting storyline alongside Im Siwan, who plays Jang Byung Tae, bringing fresh fun with his friendly and witty Chungcheong-do humor.
Lee Si Woo made his debut Sweet Range (2017) and has since appeared in kdramas such as Hi Bye, Mama! (2020) and Here’s My Plan (2021). In Pale Moon (2023) which ended in May, he impressed the viewers for his role as the protagonist Yoon Min Jae.
Kang Hye Won plays Kang Sun Hwa, who shakes every boy’s heart, in the Coupang Play series “Boyhood.” She has been loved for her beauty and acting skills in her previous works, fans will be excited to see her as Kang Sun Hwa in “Boyhood”.
Kang Hye Won is a former member of the temporary girl group IZ*ONE. She made her acting debut in the third season of web series Best Mistake (2021), in 2022 she starred in Seasons of Blossom, a web drama as she portrayed the role of Yoon Bo Mi.
