“Because I Want No Loss” is a new upcoming kdrama directed by Kim Jung Shik who showed his witty style in the TVING original Work Later, Drink Now (2021) and will be written by Kim Hye Young, who penned Her Private Life (2019). Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae are the main leads of the drama.

“Because I Want No Loss” is a romantic comedy telling the story of a woman who fakes her wedding because she doesn’t want to lose any money and a man who becomes her fake groom because he doesn’t want to cause her any loss or damage.

Shin Min Ah will star as Son Hae Young, a woman who doesn’t want to lose, no matter when, where, who, or what. She has had to share her mother’s love with others since she was a child, her relationships are often below the break-even point, and when she is about to miss out on a promotion at her company, she plans a fake wedding.
Shin Min Ah last starred in Our Blues in 2022 an omnibus kdrama which told the story of diverse characters that are somewhat interconnected at Jeju Island.
Kim Young Dae has been confirmed for the role of Kim Ji Wook, a night shift convenience store worker who is called a civilian police officer and righteous man in the neighbourhood. Kim Ji Wook is the perfect part-timer with sincerity who can’t turn a blind eye to those in need in his neighbourhood, but his life takes a turn for the worse when he receives an outrageous proposal from his most unlikely customer, Son Hae Young, and accepts to be her fake groom.
Kim Young Dae after gaining attention in The Penthouse Season 1-3, transitioned himself succesfully to playing lead roles with Shooting Stars and The Forbidden Marriage in 2022. He is set to star as Do Ha/Han Jun Oh in The Moon that Rises in the Day (2023) alongside Pyo Ye Jin.
