Barcelona are not interested in selling Ansu Fati and have rejected a reported fee of £89m for Ansu Fati from Manchester United
Ansu Fati remains integral to Barcelona’s future plans and the Catalan giants have no plans to sell him whatsoever.
The youngster joined Barcelona’s youth team from Sevilla in 2012 and made his senior debut for the Catalan giants last August.
Since then he has gone on to impress, scoring four goals in La Liga and one in the Champions League, and there are hopes he could go on to become one of the world’s best players.
According to Barcelona-based publication Sport, United recently inquired about Fati, and were willing to pay up to £89m in order to bring him to Old Trafford.
But Barcelona are determined to keep hold of him, and won’t allow him to leave for anything less than his release fee of around £150m.
Even arguably the greatest player of all time in Lionel Messi has been wowed by Fati’s potential, and speaking earlier this season the six-time Ballon d’Or winner said: “I really like him and I try to help and support him.
That £150m price tag on Fati is more or less insinuating that Barcelona see Fati as indispensable and one for the future.
