Neymar saga is again dominating football right now just like last summer.
But the Brazilian is evidently looking to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and former club Barca are the favourites to re-sign him.
Neymar famously left Camp Nou to ‘escape Lionel Messi’s shadow’, but his move to Paris has not been that fruitful that he had hoped for.
Injuries have also taken a toll on him with him missing important matches for club and national team in the last two years.
It’s no surprise that Barca would take him back in a heartbeat after his past success with the Blaugrana.
But financing a deal for Neymar will not be easy and will require and enormous amount of resources to sign him.
As Barca have already splashed £108m on Antoine Griezmann, exploring other avenues to fund this deal is wise.
And according to BILD, Barcelona’s offer to PSG for the Brazilian actually includes only players, three players out of four.
Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele, Samuel Umtiti and Nelson Semedo are the four players.
Surely that offer is too good to turn down. While losing Neymar would be a blow.
Having three world class players in your team would be tantalising.
Coutinho is still world class, Dembele is one of the best young players in world football and Umtiti is one of the best centre-backs out there.
Semedo will still improve Tuchel’s defence at the right-back position.
If the offer is real, PSG would be fools to turn it down.
