Goals from Kasper Dolberg and Daley Blind were enough as Ajax were victorious over PSV.
Danish International Dolberg opened the scoring for Ajax finishing from a pass provided by Donny van de Beek.
Ajax never looked back after taking the lead inside a minute.
The second goal of the match was scored by Daley Blind. Blind hit a bullet of a left footed shot which flew past the goalkeeper.
It was only awarded after a VAR review as the PSV players complained for a foul commited by Tadic on Olivier Boscagli, the PSV defender.
Referee after looking at the footage decided that the hand to the face by Dusan Tadic was accidental and gave the goal.
PSV then had to play with 10 men for the last 30 minutes of the game after Sam Lammers was injured.
Mark van Bommel , the PSV coach had already substituted three players.
Ajax coasted to victory after that having a numerical advantage.
Previous year’s League and cup winners lifted the Dutch Super Cup.
They will be hoping that they continue their last season’s form.
ALthough they have lost de Jong and de Ligt to Barca and Juve respectively. They still look a pretty competent side.
Next up Ajax start their title defence with the match against Vitesse Arnhem next Saturday.
PSV meanwhile have their second leg of the Champions League preliminary round tie at Basel.
