The Manchester United captain was arrested alongside his brother and a friend on the Greek island on Thursday night after resisting arrest and allegedly fighting with police.
In a trial on Tuesday, Maguire’s legal team told the court that they were defending his sister, who they allege was injected with a liquid by two Albanian men, before fainting.
The prosecutors allege Maguire offered them money, saying: “Do you know who I am? I am the captain of Manchester United, I am very rich, I can give you money, I can pay you, please let us go.”
