Speaking to the club’s official website Lampard admitted that the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was a quality player, but as yet Chelsea had not made a move.
He said: “He’s obviously a top player.”
“But to carry on from my answer before I’m certainly not going to comment on other players at other teams.”
“It cannot be our focus. So, nothing to say. No bids have gone in.”
