According to Goal, Edinson Cavani and Thomas Meunier will play no further part in Paris Saint-Germain’s season.
PSG has apparently confirmed that the club’s all-time leading goal scorer Edinson Cavani will play no further part in the cubs season.
The Uruguayan’s decision to not sign a short term extension taking his contract beyond June 30th means he will not play in the latter stages of the Champions League.
A similar decision has been made between the club and Belgian defender Thomas Meunier.
In the meantime veteran defenders, Thiago Silva and Layvin Kuruzawa have signed short term extensions. This will see them remain with the club until the end of the European competition.
With so many departures over the summer at PSG there will no doubt be a lot of business in Paris.
