As La Liga players are preparing to return to action, four Sevilla players have risked months of sacrifice and hard work by throwing a party.
Lucas Ocampos, Franco Vazquez, Luuk de Jong, and Ever Banega broke league and government regulations when they had a large gathering at their residence.
Spain is by no means out of the woods when it comes to COVID-19, as it is one of the worst-hit countries in Europe.
La Liga is pushing ahead with strict regulations and protective measures to bring football back as soon as possible.
Teams have been bringing players into club facilities to be regularly tested and start work to prepare for a return to competitive action.

The four Sevilla players apparently took this as an opportunity to “do what the heck” they wanted.
They have been met with a barrage of complaints about their actions, and may yet still face disciplinary action.
They have since apologized for their erroneous actions.
According to Goal, Banega said:
“I want to apologise for what happened yesterday.”
“It won’t happen again. All we want is to return to playing as soon as possible.”
Ocampos added:
“I want to ask for forgiveness and I recognise that we’ve made a mistake, damaging the image of the club.”
Vazquez continued:
“We’ve let down everyone: team-mates, coaching staff, the club and La Liga, but we’ve learned our lesson.”
De Jong concluded:
“I would like to say sorry to everyone that was offended due to what occurred yesterday, which will not be repeated.”
