Following the resounding victory over Schalke at the weekend, Dortmund made the trip to Wolfsburg and the Volkswagen Arena.
While neither the scoreline or the performance was quite so dominating, it will be seen as significant in keeping the pressure on league leaders Bayern Munich.
One man who did pick up right where he left off in the previous game was Raphael Guerreiro.
The Portuguese international opened the scoring for the visitors, with easy tap min at the back post.

It was not until a little over halfway through the second half, that Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi reminded everyone what all the fuss was about.
The youngsters are two of football’s most prodigious talents. They linked up perfectly to double Dortmund’s lead.

Sancho’s long run, ended with a neat pass to set up Achraf Hakimi who had typically marauded forward from his right-back position.
The game was all but over though in the 82nd minute when the hosts substitute Klaus was sent off for a high tackle, which was picked up by VAR.
