Juventus looking to extend contracts of Dybala and Buffon and confirm Pjanic-Arthur talks

Juventus are currently on working on new deals for Buffon and Dybala, while also hoping that Higuain will stay out the remainder of his contract.

There have been reports the Bianconeri were ready to offload the Argentine this summer, but it looks likely he could be staying the remainder of his contract, which expires at the end of next summer.

Elsewhere, Juventus are also looking to agree contract extensions for Buffon and Dybala. Some of the club’s transfer plans were revealed by their chief football officer, Fabio Paratici, in an interview.

“When he (Higuain) left, he was very worried in general due to personal reasons,” said Paratici as quoted by Football-Italia.

“He’s a very sensitive man. We are fond of him, he’s having an extraordinary season, so we hope that he can continue with us for the year that remains on his contract.”

Multiple reports have claimed Juventus are on the lookout to sign Barcelona’s Arthur Melo and could even offer Miralem Pjanic as a make-shift in the deal. Paratici didn’t deny this either.

“As for the Pjanic-Arthur story, big clubs always talk to each other, not just about exchanges, but also how to go forward in general. We are in the chatting period at the moment.”

“Buffon and Chiellini contract talks are on the final straight, while we’re talking to Dybala too. There was this whole situation that interrupted the negotiations.”
