The full impact of COVID-19 on football is as yet unknown. What is certain is that changes are afoot, especially in the transfer market.
Juventus’ Fabio Paratici is the first to admit he is a huge fan of Paul Pogba.
The sporting director has fond memories of the French World Cup winner from his time in Turin before he moved back to Manchester United.
Although Pogba has been quiet lately. He has made no secret in the past that it may be time for him to leave Manchester United for a second time sooner rather than later.
The problem may now be that nobody can afford the transfer fee United will demand or even the player’s wages?
Speaking to Sky Sports Italia, Paratici believes the impact of the coronavirus crisis may have changed the player’s plans for him.
He said:
“He’s a fantastic player, we know him as a champion.”
“But something will change after this crisis.”
“Now also top players like Paul will have fewer clubs that can guarantee them such a high salary.”
