Cristiano Ronaldo will not quit Juventus until at least he wins his sixth Ballon d’Or and leads them to Champions League glory, according to Rui Alves.
Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo‘s future has been called into question in recent times as reports emerge of him being unsettled at the club.
Ronaldo is the Bianconeri’s top scorer, just like he was the last season, and was on course to win his second consecutive Serie A title before football came to a halt.
Having won five Champions League titles in his career so far, Ronaldo was hoped to help Juve get a taste of European success, something which they have been unable to do in quite a while now.
However, recent reports have linked him with a move back to Real Madrid. His national teammate Jose Fonte also backed the claims saying the 34-year old is always open to a reunion with his former club.
But CD Nacional president Rui Alves cannot see Ronaldo quitting the Allianz stadium any time soon. At least not until he delivers what he was originally signed for.
“He seemed very happy at Juve,” Alves told Tuttosport. “I think and I hope he will remain there for a few more years.”
“I want him to win the Scudetto, the Champions League and the Ballon d’Or in Bianconero.”
