Juventus have emerged as favorites to sign Ceballos, with Arsenal not willing to meet Real Madrid’s €40m valuation for their midfielder.
The 23-year-old joined the Gunners last summer in a season long loan but looks set to return to parent club Real Madrid, with both clubs falling apart in talks to make the move permanent.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo h/t by Football-Italia claim that Juventus are ready to meet Real Madrid’s asking price in a bid to snap up Ceballos from Los Blancos on a permanent basis.
To further strengthen their chances of signing Ceballos, Juventus are also reportedly willing to significantly increase his current wages, an increase by up to €2m on his current €3m per-season salary.
After a brilliant start to life at the Emirates, Ceballos dropped out of the Arsenal starting lineup due to injury and has failed to establish himself as a starter since then.
