Fede Valverde has beaten the likes of Vinicius Jr., Gareth Bale and all his teammates for the title of fastest player.
Despite being just 21 years old, Federico Valverde has become both a fan favorite and one of Zinedine Zidane’s most reliable players with his outstanding performances this season.
Such is the Uruguayan’s brilliance that he has managed to find minutes in spite of the presence of Ballon d’Or winner Luka Modric and German maestro Toni Kroos in the team.
According to AS, he recently clocked in at 35.1 km/h. This makes him the fastest among all Real Madrid players this season – beating the likes of Vinicius Junior (34.6), Dani Carvajal (34.4), Ferland Mendy (34.3), and Gareth Bale (34.2).
To put that into perspective, even Cristiano Ronaldo in his nine-year spell never matched his top speed. The closest he came was only up to 33.6 km/h in 2017.
Even rivals Barcelona do not have a player who is as quick as him with the fastest being Martin Braithwaite and Ousmane Dembele at 34.6 km/h each.
