Lee Jun Young and Pyo Ye Jin have been confirmed to star in TVING’s new romantic comedy “I Openly Dream of Cinderella.”
“I Openly Dream of Cinderella” is a romantic comedy about a woman who dreams of becoming Cinderella due to difficulties in her life and wants to escape from her harsh reality. She meets a knight in shining armor (‘prince of a chaebol family) who does not believe in love as they draw closer to each other and help each other through their difficulties.
Pyo Ye Jin will star as Shin Jae Rim who takes a job as a social club manager with the sole purpose of finding his Prince. She is a 21st-century Cinderella who gradually embraces her life and grows stronger to claim her love, breaking away from the past of being dependent on others and longing for love.
Lee Jun Young will play the role of Moon Cha Min, the arrogant prince of a chaebol family and head of a social club who doesn’t trust people. Moon Cha Min is a stone-cold man who has no interest in women or love, until he becomes entangled with the newest member of the club, Shin Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin), and realizes his true feelings.
Baek Mi Kyung will be acting as the creator of the drama. The kdrama is being directed by Kim Min Kyung, who has shown empathetic comedy through “Comedy Big League” and “SNL Korea” the script has been written by Yoo Ja, a newcomer.
“I Openly Dream of Cinderella” will be released in 2024.
