Alisha Lehmann is a Swiss football player. She currently plays for Aston Villa, a club in English FA WSL and represents her country’s national team as a forward. Her previous clubs include BSC YB Frauen in Switzerland, West Ham and Everton in England.
She started her club career in Switzerland at BSC YB Frauen, women’s football team representing BSC Young Boys. Alisha played for the club the till 2018, scoring 45 goals in 71 matches for them.
In the summer of 2018, she joined West Ham United as her performances in the 2018 Under 19 Euro had impressed the then manager of the club.
She finished her first season with the club with 9 goals in 30 matches and helped them reach the FA Cup final, playing a crucial part in their win against Reading in the semifinals. Her contract was extended with the club on the back of her performances.
But after having a tough season and a half with the club where she only made just 29 apperances in total and scored just 5 goals, she decided to join Everton on loan until the end of the 2020-21 season.
After coming back from loan, Alisha Lehmann then decided to join Aston Villa where she has till now made 54 appearances for the club in the last two seasons.
She has represented her national team for 42 games and has been on scoresheet for 7 times. She scored her first goal against Finland in 4-0 win at Cyprus Women’s Cup in 2018. Her last goal was scored in February 2022 against Northern Ireland in a 2-2 draw.
Alisha is yet to win a trophy in her career but she has made two cup finals, one with West Ham United in 2018-19 season and another with the Swiss Under 17 team in 2015.
