iShowSpeed Meets Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano Ronaldo met his biggest fan, YouTuber IShowSpeed, in a heartwarming encounter on June 17, 2023. IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr, is a YouTube sensation with 14.9 million subscribers who loves Manchester United and Ronaldo. He has been trying to meet his idol for a long time, travelling to Qatar, Old Trafford and Spain, but without success. He finally got his chance after Portugal’s 3-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Euro 2024 qualifiers in Lisbon. Ronaldo stepped out of his car and greeted IShowSpeed, who fell to his knees and hugged him. They took a picture together and did the famous ‘Siu’ celebration. IShowSpeed also showed Ronaldo his tattoo of the footballer’s face on his arm. The meeting was arranged by Ronaldo’s teammate Leao, who had promised to help IShowSpeed when he spoke to him on FaceTime. IShowSpeed was overjoyed and cried after meeting his hero.
