Espanyol vs Barcelona 2-2 Extended Highlights & All Goals 2022.
Espanyol came within a whisker of a first LaLiga victory against Barcelona since the 2006-07 season, only to be denied at the finish by a Luuk de Jong equaliser in a tense game. After 74 seconds, Pedri placed Barcelona ahead, but his effort was cancelled out by Sergi Darder.
Darder then set Raul de Tomas free to put the home side ahead. Even when both teams were down to 10 men after Gerard Pique and Nicolas Melamed were sent off, it looked to be enough. The game took a last twist when De Jong rose in the area and planted a header past Diego Lopez, just in time for Miguel Morlanes to be sent off from the bench.
Espanyol must rebound from a late equaliser against Sevilla in their next LaLiga fixture at home next week. Barcelona will play Napoli in the Europa League at Camp Nou on Thursday.
